Enhance your birth experience

Yoga is an excellent way to “train” for the marathon of labour and motherhood. Exercising during pregnancy not only helps maintain your current physical condition, but it can improve sleep, flood your brain with mood boosting endorphins, improve your endurance and strengthen those muscles you need to keep your growing body on its feet! Exercise also prepares your body for the rigors of childbirth, and allows you to bounce back into shape quicker after birth.

In this class you will learn:

  • movements and strategies to relieve common discomforts of pregnancy (backache, digestive difficulties, sciatica, etc.)
  • helpful positions for labour and delivery to promote an easier birth
  • breathing and relaxation techniques to help maintain focus, calm and relaxation throughout pregnancy and delivery
