about
Cherish Daschuk is a Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance 200hr) and a Registered Massage Therapist (MTAS 2200hr) with a love for understanding the human body and mind.
She has been teaching yoga for over eight years. Often asking her students to “listen to their body”, she understands that yoga is not simply exercise but an opportunity to find balance, experience joy, and live life with ease.
She studied Massage Therapy in 2004 to learn more about injury prevention, alignment and proper adjustments, allowing her to not only guide you safely through your yoga practice, but also to help you enhance your quality of life, through the healing power of touch.
Cherish offers diverse and comprehensive therapeutic massage therapy sessions from her home clinic located on lovely West Hill. She utilizes both traditional and alternative treatment techniques, specializing in Myofascial Release.
She is continually in awe of the human body and is grateful for what yoga and bodywork bring in their approach to stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
She believes the transformative power of yoga and bodywork is not about changing who we are, it’s about discovering, celebrating and becoming more of who we already were.
Cherish is expanding her practice to further accommodate your pre and post natal needs. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (IAIM), she offers prenatal massage and yoga classes, mom and baby yoga classes, and is expanding her CranioSacral therapy practice to include children. She is also in the process of becoming a Certified Labour Doula.
After years on the west coast and some world travel she adores her home of Prince Albert where she lives with her husband, whose playfulness and kindness continue to amaze her.
